Cynthia Levitt
Executive Director
Cynthia has been part of the Temple Emeth family since 1980, when she began working as the Temple’s Office Secretary. She has been the Executive Director since 1998. Cynthia graduated from Hebrew High School “when Prozdor was a 5-day program and everything was taught in Hebrew!” She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts.
Cynthia knows every Temple member. She organizes High Holy Day administrative preparations, works with Bar and Bat Mitzvah parents, maintains the Temple calendar, and coordinates all Temple programming and functions. Cynthia is a member of the North American Association of Synagogue Executives, and the Massachusetts Association of Temple and Synagogue Administrators under the auspices of the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts.
