Samara Katz
Director of Congregational Learning
Samara Katz came to Temple Emeth in 2009 from Beth Tikvah Synagogue in Westborough, where she spent the past 13 years as director of its religious school, which she established. Prior to that, she was the director of Judaic Studies at the Solomon Schechter Day School of Worcester. She has also taught at synagogue religious schools in Holliston, Wayland, and Worcester.
An accomplished adult and family educator, Samara has designed curricula and organized creative workshops on many aspects of Judaic studies. She grew up in South Africa, where she received undergraduate degrees in languages and Hebrew and Judaic Studies. She earned a Master’s Degree in Communication Arts from the University of Memphis in Tennessee.

Amy Salinger
Nursery School Director
Amy joined the Temple Emeth family in 2011. With more than 20 years of teaching and managing experience in a variety of Judaic environments, she brings a wealth of expertise and value to our early childhood and family education programs. Most recently Amy was the preschool director at Temple Beth Am in Framingham.
Amy received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Simmons College and her master's degree in Special Education for Young Children from Wheelock College. She holds a certificate in Jewish Family Education from Hebrew College, as well as Lead Teacher and Preschool Director II certificates from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. One of her special interests is writing stories with Judaic themes for young children.

Jeanne joined the Temple Emeth School staff in 2009. She holds an Associate's Degree from Quincy College. Jeanne loves working and interacting with young children and says at Temple Emeth she has found her "dream job." Her skills and ebullient personality enhance the welcoming aura of all our nursery ventures.
