Chugim (clubs) and Emeth Recreation are Temple Emeth’s after school enrichment programs for toddlers through teens. Chugim have a Judaic component; its programs focus on enhancing Jewish education through the arts. Emeth Recreation offers secular, recreation-based activities.

We believe Temple Emeth’s programs are distinguished from similar offerings in the area by our smaller class and group sizes, maximizing student participation and allowing the educational staff to focus on individual growth and development. We provide a warm and welcoming environment in which each student receives attention and instruction according to his or her needs.

The programs are overseen by Samara Katz, Director of Congregational Learning, and Lior Kagan, Chugim Coordinator. Enrollment is open to children of Temple Emeth members and nonmembers. Temple Emeth members receive discounted rates for Chugim programs. Emeth Recreation programs are not discounted.
