Emeth Goes to Israel

A trip to the state of Israel underscores our commitment and connection to Eretz Yisrael. The Temple’s staff, lay leaders and congregants combine their knowledge and contacts to offer a unique and enriching experience for all ages. Our congregational trip to Israel in February 2009 was a huge success. Our next congregational trip to Israel is being planned.

For further information, contact Samara Katz, Director of Congregational Learning.

It was great to travel with members of Emeth, some of whom I did not know and now consider to be good friends.

Cantor Michael in Israel

Under the auspices of Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Cantor Michael traveled to Israel in July 2011 with a group of clergy, Jewish educators and temple officers. He met with American teenagers participating in a variety of summer programs, and returned with the goal of promoting teen trips to Israel. Read more about his experiences in our September Newsletter.

Being in Israel with my family and our wonderful group was one of the most special experiences of my life.
