Temple Emeth's morning minyan participants held a prayer service in the Arnold Arboretum, under the beautiful canopy of a Cedar of Lebanon tree. Prayerful Assembly in Support of the Japanese People - March 23, 2011

The Sugihara Survivor Committee and Temple Emeth held a "Prayerful Assembly" in support of the Japanese people who are experiencing loss and pain due to the earthquake and tsunami of March 11, 2011. The assembly was held in Temple Emeth's Japanese Memorial Garden, and was an opportunity for members of Boston's Japanese and Jewish communities to offer reflection and show support. Rabbi Alan Turetz, Consul General of Japan Takeshi Hikihara and Deputy Consul General of Israel Ronit Nudelman Perl were among the speakers.
