High Five: Drop In, Do Good 

Temple Emeth & Binah B’emet Social Action Chesed Program

Dates of Program: 10/27;12/8;1/26; 3/22; 5/3            Time: 12:30-3:00 pm

The program is for adults and supervised children of all ages. All are welcome and anyone may participate in any – all, of the sessions. Advanced sign up (the week before) is required for security purposes. Light lunch will be provided at 12:30 pm.

Program Objectives: To provide opportunities for meaningful social action/chesed projects which reach beyond Binah B’emet and include all members of the congregation, all ages, and open to the whole South Brookline community. Community service hours will be certified for those eligible; to create an environment where students in Binah B’emet participate, together with their families, in experiential learning, hands-on action projects, and in living the Jewish values of the Binah B’emet curriculum; to collaborate with Jewish Families and Childrens Services, and to assist by supporting/contributing to existing/ on-going projects at JF&CS.
