Rosh Hashanah Young Family Program

The High Holiday Blast
Sunday, September 22 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
• Bring the children (ages 2-12) for a morning of Rosh Hashanah experiences
• Learn to hear the shofar in a new way
• Cost $10/child - No charge for Binah B'emet families

Roots: Tapping into the Wisdom of our Forebears and Stewarding the Future of our Children and Grandchildren

Join Dr. Davin Wolok and Cantor Michael McCloskey as we explore the importance of legacy and our role within the world in Judaism. The theme of the year is the Jewish Pride Curriculum and explores the Great Ideas our civilization gave the world.  These will include but will not be limited to:

  • The weekend
  • Payday (paying employees on time)
  • Charitable giving
  • Ecology (Animal Rights, Urban Greenbelt, Crop Rotation)
  • Compulsory Education, Class Size Limits, and Adult Education
  • Asylum and Protection of Disenfranchised
  • Census
