Abe, Jake, Mo and More: The Role of Personality Development in the Bible

We ask, "What is so-and-so like? Are they quiet, loud, weak, boisterous, aggressive? Do they teem with insight or are they impulsive?" The presupposition of the above questions is that a person has an unchanging personality which can be pinned down once and for all.

In this course we will see how Biblical characters like Abraham, Jacob, Moses and others in fact undergo change and development. We will learn how they grow and in this way become models for us in our own struggles and striving.
