The Boston-Haifa Connection was established in 1989 by Combined Jewish Philanthropies and the City of Haifa. Going far beyond one-time missions and donations, it builds and strengthens Jewish community on both sides of the ocean through dialogue and collaboration among a variety of individuals differing in age, ethnicity, culture and religion. More than 100 active projects engage social service agencies, schools and synagogues in both cities.
Our relationship with Kehillat Moriah began in 2007. As part of our 2009 congregational trip to Israel, participants experienced personal and unforgettable Shabbat hospitality offered by Kehillat Moriah.
