The Day School Connection

A number of Temple Emeth families send their children to local Jewish day schools for their religious and secular education. These students and the Temple’s religious school students join together in an active congregational life.

Many day school students regularly attend Shabbat and holiday services with their families and participate in both youth and adult services. Day school students participate in Temple social activities for their age group, and are active members of USY. In preparation for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah year, a series of family education programs is offered, at which both Binah B’emet and day school students and their parents participate together. Adult members of Temple Emeth are active in the leadership of both the Temple and their children’s day school.
