Book of Remembrance
A gift to the Book of Remembrance is a special way to honor the memory of a loved one. The Book of Remembrance is printed each year for distribution on Yom Kippur. For more information please contact our Executive Director by phone at 617-469-9400 or email.
Memorial Plaques
Memorial Plaques may be dedicated in memory of loved ones and are displayed in the Sanctuary and in the Chapel. Memorial Plaques contain individual lights and are inscribed with the name of the deceased and the date of death. Memorial lights are kindled on the day of an individual’s Yahrzeit. All Memorial Plaques are lighted on Yizkor.
Memorial Plaques are dedicated at our annual Selichot Service. In addition, names of the deceased are read during Saturday evening services the week of Yahrzeit. Family members receive notification of a Yahrtzeit so they have an opportunity to recite kaddish.
Simcha Leaves
Celebrate engagements, weddings, births, B’nai Mitzvah, birthdays and anniversaries by purchasing a lasting tribute! Simcah leaves are a beautiful way to remember happy occasions. Engraved brass leaves are placed on our Simcha Leaf board located in the hallway leading to the Sanctuary. The cost per brass leaf is $400.
Bimah Flowers
Beautify the sanctuary on Shabbat and holidays and benefit Sisterhood by sponsoring a delightful arrangement of fresh flowers for the Bimah. Leave a message for Beverly Albert at the Temple office 617-469-9400, or email her at .
Kiddush Sponsorship
Sponsoring a Kiddush is a wonderful opportunity to honor a loved one for any special occasion, be it celebrating a birth, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, graduation, wedding, anniversary, birthday – or just saying thank you. Basic or enhanced Kiddush menu options are available.
